Another day another red dress...a shift dress of course, need I say more..., perfect for days I feel a little insecure in my midriff...very forgiving and not to mention the confidence one gets when wearing red, It's one of those colors that make me feel empowered...Live life, Love life, Be inspired, It's a lifestyle!

Joggers Edition

When the joggers trend first came out I just could never understand them and didn't think much of them, I loved the idea of wearing them with some slip on shoes and a Tee for a laid back casual look, then I started seeing them paired up with heels and I was  kind  of  confused...( insert open mouth)...aren't joggers meant to be for jogging...then the fashion world switched it up to different materials  including these faux leather ones and still in my confusion and curiosity bought myself a pair in the junior section ( yess!!! I did and am not ashamed)...tried them and was sold on 1. they are very comfortable, 2. loved the relaxed look, 3. loved that they allowed for showcasing the shoes ...I could go on, would I buy another pair of these? No , I think one is enough for a trial period...I don't rule anything out...Live life, Love life, Be inspired...It's a lifestyle!

Cool Mix

Are you living your best life, Are you loving hard and cherishing everyday like its your last, What are you doing to change the world around you, When its all said and done...Will the memory of your existence still linger on..., I work in one of the most challenging environments in opinion, It is emotional, draining, frustrating, tests your patience limits and physically straining and I have literally the physical scars to prove it... I work with Alzheimers  patients where everyday I have to try my hardest to walk in their shoes and understand  where they have come from and in my capacity try and convince them that what is now is reality and their past is history and remind them every 5 seconds that they are in their new home and are safe. I watch my patients struggle to make sense of reality and answer their repetitive questions as to why they are not in their homes and  why they didn't receive their dinner even though they have had more than dinner, or why their spouse who's been dead for years hasn't picked them up, questions as to whether they''ll  make it in time for school yet they are way advanced in age... As I look at the stories of their lives decorated by the many vibrant pictures hung on the walls I am saddened that they can't remember those much cherished moments and let alone whom they are...What If tomorrow we can't remember our loved ones and are unable to remember who we are and the dreams we once held so close...memories are a part of us, bad or good they are who we are and they tell the story of our life.. make sure the memories you are creating will be a testament of your legacy and God forbid if you loose the ability to remember those cherished times at least your family will have some treasured memories to hold on to and remember you by, I love clothes always have, I'm not an expert but everyday I am teaching myself to understand this passion I have and how I can profit from it...I blog because It makes me happy and it breaks the monotony of my daily routine and the stress of my job, It's the perfect  stress reliever for I thoroughly enjoy it...I know I don't even do it right and I am not a professional blogger but the truth is I am doing it 1, and 2. I have foundsomething that gives me solace in a world filled with turmoil , hate and selfish desires...Live life Love life, Be inspired...It's a lifestyle!!!

Must Have Jewellery

Every girl ought to have that piece of jewellery  that can instantly transform an outfit, I love big chunky  jewellery and I always have my eye out for unique pieces that I can rotate in my wardrobe, I am thrifty as well and I will not spend a fortune on jewellery either as times and fashion is forever evolving, however If and when I do buy something I always ask myself if that item has the ability to be worn 2 years from now and if it can  be worn with other items I already own. This necklace I almost passed on and I bought it because I liked the color but once I brought it home I realized what an investment I had made,  This outfit is very simple and rather boring but I think  the necklace adds a little oomph and glam to a rather dull outfit, Now this necklace is one of my most treasured pieces and I didn't even have to break the bank for it either...(happy dance)...Live life, love life, Be inspired...It's a lifestyle!

Power Dressing

Have that one outfit that makes you  feel powerful and confident, sexy without even revealing anything....(This one, hands up!)...I love that I can pair up this skirt and sweater together and separately, many outfits can come out of these two, and I absolutely love that its fitted and hugs me in all the right places showing my curves without being offensive, can transition from work to business meeting, to church, to a lunch date, to a parent teacher conference and can still grab dinner with my hubs...an all around outfit... It doesn't hurt that the skirt  and top were both 75% off under $20 on sale...Target I love you (smiley face and tearing up...)
